Breaking News: There is a ‘Fire Tornado’ threat in Los Angeles

The city of Los Angeles in the state of California has been burning for 9 days in the worst fire in history. At least 25 people lost their lives in the fire. Several people are missing. Meanwhile, firefighters are facing new challenges in controlling the fire in the stormy Santa Ana that started on Wednesday local time. In the meantime, meteorologists fear a “tornado of fire”.

The fire started in Los Angeles on January 7. Later it spread to a wide area. Among them, about 12 small and big fires occurred. The fire destroyed about 5,500 luxury homes and structures belonging to the residents of Pacific Palisades, known as an elite area.

In addition, more than 5,000 buildings were burned in Eaton, Altadena, 40 kilometers east of Palisades. The fire in these two areas has not yet been brought under control. 40 thousand acres of land are still burning in these two areas.

In such a situation, the storm named ‘Santa An’ has started blowing and panic has arisen again.

According to a message from the US National Weather Service, the wind intensity is high and very dry in the area where the fire is spreading. The combination of these two has created a dangerous situation. It can lead to new and more dangerous fires.

Meteorologists say that there is a danger of creating a ‘fire tornado’ in the current extreme weather.

Air quality and speed in Southern California worsened due to wildfires that have not rained for the past eight months. Maximum Warning The National Weather Service has issued a ‘highest warning’ for another week of strong winds in the region.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles Fire Chief Christine Crowley told reporters that firefighters from the United States and Mexico are working hard to bring the wildfire in Los Angeles under control, but there are no signs of the fire coming under control.

Millions of people are still displaced by the wildfires in the second-largest city in the United States. It will take a long time for life to return to normal.

Meanwhile, children are being sent to other institutions as their schools are damaged.

More than 12,000 structures, including the luxury homes of Pacific-Palisades’ tycoons, were destroyed in the fire. So far, 24 people have died, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. Dog squad members searched hundreds of buildings and reported that the death toll was increasing.
